Laser Technician Training

Our Laser & Light-Based Technician Certification is one of the most in-demand programs at G21 Aesthetics Academy — designed to deliver a strong balance of theoretical knowledge and supervised, hands-on education.

This program prepares students with the foundational understanding, safety awareness, and practical skills required to pursue opportunities in professional aesthetic environments, within regional scope-of-practice regulations.

Step 1: Online Theory (Pre-Class Requirement)

Before attending in-person training, students complete structured online theory modules at their own pace.
This ensures all participants arrive prepared to focus on practical learning.

Online theory covers:

• Laser & light-based technology principles
• Laser physics & safety fundamental
• Skin anatomy & hair growth cycles
• Fitzpatrick skin typing
• Treatment planning concepts & contraindications
• Client consultation & pre/post-care education
   

This phase builds a strong educational foundation prior to hands-on training.

Step 2: In-Person Hands-On Training (5 Days)

The in-person portion of this program focuses on supervised, education-based practical learning.

Over five intensive training days, students participate in:

• Instructor-led demonstrations
• Supervised hands-on practice
• Device handling and parameter selection principle
• Safety protocols and risk management
• Treatment workflow and professional standards
   

Training may include live model education within a structured, educational setting.
Hands-on components are delivered in accordance with regional regulations.

Small class sizes ensure individualized instruction and adequate hands-on learning time.
